UAB “ELSIS PRO” started implementing the Project financed by the European Union “Technical Feasibility Study of Risk Management Information Systems “PRO.RISKS”. The Project is financed under VP2-1.3-ŪM-01-K Measure “Idea LT”, Priority 1 “Research and technological development for competitiveness and growth of the economy“ of the Operational Programme for Economic Growth of the General Programming Document.

It is aimed in the course of the Project to draw up the Technical Feasibility Study, which would analyse the possibilities of developing the standard risk management information system – PRO.RISKS.

PRO.RISKS is a specialised standard product dedicated for risk management in enterprises of different size and public sector institutions.

“Effective risk management by means of information systems is a need of many clients of UAB “Elsis PRO” and, unfortunately, it is not always satisfied. An individual tailor-made instrument of risk management is relatively expensive, therefore, standard products are most often sought. A major precondition allowing to identify the environment necessary for the development of the PRO.RISKS risk management information system is that the market is dominated by large-scale commercial products or products not adapted for direct management of risks, thus, leaving a niche for coming optimum products. UAB “Elsis PRO” develops information systems according to the needs of its clients and that is why this business idea has originated from real needs of the clients,” says Dalius Jonaitis, Project Director of UAB “ELSIS PRO”.

Once implemented, the Project will help to assess the real need for the product of this type and its development methods. It is aimed to develop the methodological basis for this system through scientific research and the expediency of such research, performance plan, financial return, risks, etc. should be verified by the Technical Feasibility Study.
