Having won an international contractors tender, UAB Elsis TS is starting the implementation of its first project in Ukraine. At the end of July, a contract worth more than 4 million litas (1.179.000 euros) was signed with Ukraine’s Chernigov municipal water supply company on the modernization of the city’s water supply sector. The project will be financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD). The works of system design, equipment production, supply and installation shall have to be carried out within the period of 8 months.
The implemented system shall include the water supply network telemetry, hydraulic calculations in real-time, integrated tracking of operational vehicles and transfer of information to the company’s accounting system.
UAB Elsis TS steps into Ukraine for long-term projects, thus, it plans to establish a full-fledged representative office in Kiev by the end of this year, the legal registration process of which has already been started. This is a strategically important step, which will allow the company to better deliver the products of the company to potential customers, boost sales and exports as well as to consolidate its position in this large and promising market.
